Marcus White CEng BSc (Hons) MSc MIAgrE ASIC
When studying for his first degree Marcus specialised in the soil sciences, geomorphology, hydrology, and Geographic Information Systems. Having developed an interest in soil-plant-water relationships and irrigation (great topics for chatting up the girls), he went to Cranfield University gaining an MSc in Irrigation Water Management, specialising in irrigation engineering, irrigation agronomy, drainage, hydrology & water resources.

In his early career Marcus was Irrigation O&M Manager at King Khaled International Airport (Riyadh) – one of the world’s largest landscape irrigation projects – gaining invaluable practical field experience in irrigation system development and operation in the harshest of environments. Within the UK, Europe and further afield, Marcus is further accomplished in water resources development, reservoir engineering and irrigation engineering. He joined Irriplan in 2005 and is a specialist in finding the most cost-effective and sustainable source of water for an irrigation project.

A fan of Leicester Tigers rugby club, Marcus also enjoys curry, real ale and home-brewing (a great man to share an office with).
